Beach Accomodations
The MCHA beach lot is a little slice of heaven located on Lake Minnewashta. Over the years the association has made updates and provided accommodations to make it the perfect place for family and friends to enjoy. Please help us keep our space clean and orderly. Accommodations include:
- Four picnic tables with umbrellas
- Two charcoal grills (recommend bringing own grilling utensils)
- Porta-potty
- Garbage & recycling
- Beach chairs & benches
- Beach toys
- Water raft
- Water hose
- Two boat moorings
Boat Moorings
Every April, we organize a lottery drawing to determine which households with boats get mooring spots for the season. The season is split in two – first half (April through July 4) and second half (July 5 – Oct), so there are 4 spots available in total. If you win a spot and don’t intend to have your boat in the entire time, feel free to communicate with your neighbors! Boat owners are always excited to get any time on the lake they can get.
Reserving the Beach
Planning a get-together? Use the beach! One or more picnic tables and grills can be “reserved” to accommodate group gatherings. There is no official sign up but it’s recommended to communicate your event in one or more of the ways below ahead of time to ensure the neighborhood is aware. Be sure to include the day, time, and approximately how many people you anticipate attending. Keep in mind, it is an association beach so other members are free to be there if they choose.
